my shar pai 7 month old dog has a rash on both sides of his face he has just finished his fist moult.is this normal.and what is the best tretment for it .thanks cb

Shar pai's are known for skin problems. I would do some research and consult a breeder and or vet.

Shar Pais have many skin problems and get rashes and infections and all sorts of things going on in the wrinkles.
You need to have the vet look to see if this is an infection and it needs antibiotics or not then you are going to have to learn how to clean out hte wrinkles on his face and how often and what products you should be using on them.
If you know a breeder or belong to a Shar Pai breed club that is where i would go for questions like that. Something breed specific.

I have a Shar Pai with some what of the same problem found out it was a reaction to the food I was feeding her. I would check with a vet first this could be a rash and not something else. Make a vet. appointment to make sure. In the mean time you could try Benadryl see if that helps he ( read bottle first only 25gm for small or puppy 50gm for lager dogs).
