My boyfriend is trying to grow his hair long, as in about shoulder length. Is there a certain way he should cut it so it grows better or more evenly? Is there anything else he can do to speed up the process?

Yes. Get the split ends trimmed every other month or so. I never did this when I tried to grow my hair out and I could never grow it past mid-neck length. Hope this helps.

Shave it ALL off!!! Let it grow out for a couple of days, then shave it ALL off again. Do this about 20 times. It will grow back REAL fast and furious. It's kinda like armpit and butt hair. Good luck!!

If he just cuts off a tuny bit (like a cintimeter) it will grow faster.

Get rid of split ends. Layering helps too.
