hey guys. today i am going to get a new straightener from SALLYS
Do any of yall know a really good straightener that you can purchase from SALLYS that does little damage to hair
I will most likely give you extra points if you tell me the answer to my question AND how to protect my hair before straightening...like what kind of thermal protectant and that sort of stuff
Thank you
Chelle

You can go in there and they have a straightner that is a "fake" CHi. It works the exact same...just ask them (they will know)

I have ultra curly hair and I straighten it. Now I don't really know what you can buy from SALLY'S, but I suggest you buy a CHI straightening iron (CND$200). IT IS WONDERFUL!
It straightens my hair in 10 minutes instead of 30 like it used to take!
To protect it, I use the CHI thermal guard spray. Costs 12$ and works perfectly, plus it makes your hair soft and shiny!

Since you don't have that much money to spend on one get a ceramic straightner or conair, revlon those are good brands but it might take you longer to straighten or damage your hair more than the expensive ones like Sedu ($100), Chi (100+). Tresseme heat protectnat works really well.

catwalk has some cream you can put in your hair before you straighten it so that the cream gets cooked before your hair does. Also, there are special thermal shampoos that make your hair stronger so you can style it more often. get a revlon straightener... all straighters wreck your hair, but revlons are really good. metal plated is the best.

If you have really thick or curly hair the Chi straightener is a little pricey but it works GREAT!
