They even thumbs down the answer I gave in response to "does anyone have any prayer requests" because my answer was yes and so very important to me, I can't understand why someone would thumbs down that answer. Who must I have offended so much?

No, I really haven't any idea, I know I did make one person mad by using the word flippancy regarding her question, she emailed me and reamed me about it.
The question I answered that the thumbs down was in response to "does anyone have any prayer requests, if interested, go to my answers, its there.
But hey, you guys are right, I will thicken up my skin and continue to enjoy YA, R&S Thanks, June

When you complain after the fact, you give them the power and satisfaction. Just ignore them!

Don't let people get you down. Why would you care what other people think? If you get a thumbs down, has your life been tragically altered in some way?
Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff!
Addendum - I am sorry to hear of your husband's illness. I hope all goes well for you and your family. Hang in there, love!

Your answer doesn't necessarily have to offend someone to get thumbs down.
If it is a well-thought and informative answer, you will get thumbs down because people want things pleasant, not honest or logical. And if it's a really weak answer, it will also get a thumbs down because people don't want to hear cliches or parroted ideas.
Usually answers that are funny or light-hearted, or answers that are truly helpful will get thumbs up.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, though. This is just for entertainment.

you already know, i think of in simple terms because of the fact some ignorant human beings prefer to grant me thumbs down, it does not mean that yahoo needs to hide it. and that's what i'm getting the whole time. i'm attempting to make your suggestions up the reality. yet people who're not attentive to what logic is, in simple terms supply a thumb down because of the fact it particularly is in contradiction with their opinion...

Because there are atheists and irreligious people trolling any internet spot for religious people trying to make sport of you. It is a whole subculture of people that think it is fun. They will thumbs down any religious answer of any kind.
Just ignore them and enjoy the people who are here for religious discussion and sharing.

People tend to thumbs down others when they don't agree with what's being said. Now watch how many thumbs down I get.

I think someone made a program that finds all the good answers and thumbs downs them automatically. They're greedy life sucking vampiristic bastards who have nothing better to do than build internet applets that thumbs down me and everyone else that leaves a good answer. We're being persecuted.
I suspect George W Bush

I have noticed many of the answers by those who are Christians get the thumbs down. I just consider the source and pray for them that they may come to know Christ in their lives. Keep answering the questions honestly and don't let it bother you that non-believers give you the thumbs down. they aren't rejecting you, they are rejecting God.

Same thing happens to everyone, you're not alone.
Some troll is thumbing down every good answer they see. They want to turn YA into a joke and discourage good answers.
Don't worry or take it personally. I don't care what they say....YOU'RE OKAY! (haha)

You sound as if you know who it may be.
Why does that person matter so much? It is nice to be liked but it ain't the brass bell! The greatest love is God in you.
