There is a piece of software called Registry Mechanic, which may solve your problem. It will correct any errors in the registry. Unless you know what your doing, I wouldn't take any chances fooling around with the registry on my own,

You may be able to remove the entries in safe mode, I would try that first. I have removed entries in safe mode that I couldn't in the regualar mode.

Of course you should run a spyware software. I use "Bit Defender" for viruses and for removing spyware, It was rated number 1 by Consumers, and it seem to do a great job for me. Sometimes it will remove items that I couldn't get rid of otherwise.

.You may also want to check out a program called Hijack This. It was reccomended to me by Microsoft, and you can use it to to prevent any programs from starting when you boot up the computer.

Sometimes this happends, it means that you have already uninstalled it, just that it hasn't been regisestered with the PC yet. Go to C:\Program Files and see if you see a folder called Napster and if it's there and there is nothing in it or only a small useless file that it is probably already uninstalled or jsut delete the folder.

try to do this if you have the folder in ur program files folder, look there for a file called uninst or unistall double click there if there's not, i give u advice just delete the folder, and run some kind of registry cleaner to delete all the info from ur computer about napster or whatever elseand then just go to accesories-> disc cleanup and clean the entire program, then just search for it on ur computer and if u dont get anything from it - great, if u do, just buy a new computer
