Waikiki would not be my choice for a honeymoon. I would rather stay on Maui or Kauai, it would def. be a more romantic place in my opinion. Go to Waikiki on your last couple days to check it out and party.

There are numerous hotels with ocean view rooms on and across the street from the beach. Sheraton Moana Surfrider is right on the beach at one end and is a real nice one. A little more expensive than others, but if you want a really nice place with a great view, that would be a recommended one. Keep in mind that all the hotel's ocean view rooms are a lot more expensive than "city side" rooms.

Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is across the street from the Surfrider and has rooms facing the ocean and is a little less expensive and an older hotel but still nice.

But as I said, do a search for hotels on Waikiki Beach and check them all out because there are a bunch of them right around Waikiki Beach.

Hilton Hawaiian Village is the best. It has plenty to do at the resort. Make sure you take a walk to Eggs &Things for a great breakfast (about 3-4 blocks from the hotel). Parking is pretty cheap there by Hawaii standards. Make sure you rent a car. Please take a few days and go to Maui. It is quiet, romantic, and much less congested than Waikiki. Aloha!!!!

It also has a restaurant on the bottom floor called TGI Fridays they have the best food you have to try the Jack Daniel's Glazed Ribs it is onolicious! It right in the heart of Waikiki. In walking distance of the beach and shops.
