All animals deficate. She is thinking about the fact that some animals regurgitate on their food to help start the digestion process. Vultures (buzzards) will eat carrion, in all states, and then after it has processed, it comes out the other end.

Owls do regurgitate the bones and fur of the animals they eat, but the digestable parts do come out the other end with them as well.

Here is a refrence telling that Turkey vultures (buzzards) do deficate. It also explains the regurgitation.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey_Vulture
The Turkey Vulture has few natural predators. Its primary form of defense is vomiting. These birds do not "projectile vomit," as many would claim. They simply cough up a lump of semi-digested meat. This foul-smelling substance deters most creatures intent on raiding a vulture nest. It will also sting if the offending animal is close enough to get the vomit in its face or eyes.

In some cases, the vulture must rid its crop of a heavy, undigested meal in order to lift off and flee from a potential predator. In this case, the regurgitated material has not yet been digested. Most predators will give up pursuit of the vulture in favor of this free edible offering.

Like its stork relatives, the Turkey Vulture often defecates on its own legs, using the evaporation of the water in the feces and/or urine to cool itself down, a process known as urohydrosis.[2] Also, due to the nature of their diets, vulture excreta has a high uric acid content that acts as a sanitizer, killing any bacteria the birds pick up while traipsing on its food. This allows them a certain tolerance towards microbial toxins (such as botulism) and certain synthetic poisons that have been used to kill coyotes and ground squirrels.

No, they do not. no site to support my answer but i worked with vultures and i can tell you for certain that they do defecate just like any other bird.
Vultures, unlike many of the other raptors do not produce pellets as their digestive system digests almost anything. They do, however, have a good way to get predators to go away. If they are severly disturbed they will throw up on the animal. The stomach contents and acid are extremely smelly and will cause most animals to run away.

She's pulling your leg or is extremely ... well, that's for you to decide.

BTW, "buzzard" describes a species of hawk ... not a vulture.

Either way, yes, ALL birds have an "butthole".

Now if you want to discuss the fact that birds (sans the ostrich) do not have a urinary bladder, that's another "show."

Yes, they do regurgitate (as most birds of prey and owls do), but they do also "defecate". They do not have an "anus" but they have a "cloaca" that is basically one hole that acts both as a means of reproduction and excretion.
