has anyone used sterling board as a floor covering over a concrete screed?

the idea IS TO CREATE A CHEAP AND TEMPORARY SUBSTITUTE TO REAL WOOD

how short is tempory? not much wrong with stirling board but it was never intended for that use..you would have to cover in carpet as it splinters like hell ..and how are you going to open the doors
