nothing. I think she'd just be full of moral dilemna anyway. To go home to an atheistic environment. God can reach the girl and even the father. Church does not a christian make but it sure does help along the way.
I also think its close minded of the atheist not to let the child decide for herself by letting her go to church.
How much would I pray (instead of pray) - a million prayers.

As an atheist, I would never "send" a child of mine to church against that child's will, for any amount of money. On the other hand, if one wanted to go of his or her own free will, then I'd let them go for free. Money is not the issue here; freedom to choose what beliefs to have, what path to take, is. Children are not just commodities to have their futures traded around like tokens. They are people.

Oooh, I hope somebody comes up with a big huge number -- 'cause I'll take it!
I'll take the money, then send my daughter to your church, where she'll proceed to use the intelligence, reason, and logic I've taught her (and she's only 7) to disprove every superstitious claim they make at the church. She'll walk out smiling, the churchgoers will be furious and confused, and I'll pocket the money.
Come on, somebody make me an offer...:)

How much would you pay a Christian to send his daughter to a Biology class? Or a Geography class?(Age of the Earth) Or a Physics class?(Age of the Universe and take your pick) Or even a religious studies class? Or a Law class? (Legality of Abortion, Homosexuality) Or a History class? (Historical inaccuracy of the Bible)

It wouldn't be worth a penny. When she rebels, she will go to church just to spite him and then make up her own mind about the truth. And she WILL rebel. What do you think made all these people athiests. When we stop rebelling against our parents we can listen to that still small voice within us that calls us to look at God ourselves. Been there done that. I was one of the biggest scoffers on the face of the earth until I set out to find real truth and I did. Isn't life a hoot?

Well sweetheart, I wouldn't send my daughter to church. Not even if you paid me 30 pieces of silver.

I'd pay a Christian to let me teach his child about Wicca, Buddhism, Taoism, or secular humanism - or to take his child to a UU church.

As in do you think we should be willing to pay money to force religion on children, if there parents won't do it willingly? if my daughter wants to go to church I will allow her. But I will never force her.
