Im a 17 year old male, im average build, not fat or anything and yet if i spend any amount of time slightly hunched over (enough to fold my stomach) when i straighten up again (eg. stand up) im left with red marks across my stomach where the folds were...
its highly inconvenient, and all though its not doing me any harm physicaly, its not great for confidence. Has anybody else suffered from this? Or have any ideas to get to prevent it? I think it might be dietary, perhaps a vitamin E defficiency?
any advice appreciated.

These are not stretch marks, I dont think. that sounds like blood rushing to the folds of your skin. Like blushing. stretch marks are more permenant than this.

You could use cocoa butter, if you want to smell like a pregnant woman(I doubt you do). I have tried many things since my pregnancy to get rid of mine, but nothing has worked until I went tanning (indoor at the salon) and started using skin firming lotion as well. There is tanning creams made with Pentapeptide-that is what you want. It has been proven to help with stretch marks, crows feet, and wrinkles. Brands that I know carry them are Max 10, and Millennium Back in Black (Max is 60, and Back in Black is 45) They are pricey, but sometimes we have to pay to have confidence---sad but true. If you choose not to tan, try a scar removal product in the drugstore aisle-believe someone who spent hundreds, odds are you won't find anything

Those aren't stretch marks. Stretch marks are actual permanent scars caused by being fat/pregnant and the skin being stretched too much for what it can cope with. Lose some weight, go to the gym excercise and when you are slimmer, you won't get red lines when you bend over.

What you are speaking of is not stretch marks.

While you are sitting down the creases in your skin are holding the blood in those areas, when you get up the blood in the tissue disperses. No deficiency, really. There is nothing to do about this, but never sit down....don't try that please.

try cocoa butter... and try to excercise..

your skin loses elasticity as you get older and tends to stay the way it is when stretched out....

could be from vitamin defficiency but you would have to have tests done about that....

hope i was some kind of help...
good luck

the most healthy option is to ignore them.
stretch marks etc will always appear with age. don't worry yourself over them.
