You can go to an Ortodox Church (Russia , Greek are in majoryty Ortodoxy). Ortodox Church is actualy the ''Mother Church''Maybe you shall be afraid because we are so obeyed to that priest, But God organised this-he sends us answers with what the priest says ... and even if the priest make a mistake, Jesus Christ and His Father and the Holly Spirit is the boss of the Church and you can remind them if they forget.God can send us answers too, but if we are not sure , the priest is the confirmation...In my opinion, the ortodoxy is the closest to the Truth and God.(and where is wrong , find a proof in the Bible ..'and say it)Even if some are against the priests , they don't give up ortodoxy , because God and the priest are different persons. The Truth belongs to God , priests only confess about it.

Wow! There are a lot of mislead hicks out there!!!!! To heck with their delusional, homophobic idiocy, if this woman is attracting people to your church, and she's not a serial axe murderer, than you've got something brilliant going on and I congratulate you for it.
And a word to the bumbling gits: have you read the bible? Can you read?? Isn't there a little part about god loving his creations??? That nothing you do will ever stop the eternal love god has for you???? Or do the rules only apply when they fit your ill conceived motives?????

My mother went to a church that had a gay pastor but she didn't know it, and when somebody found out he was asked to leave; before he left, the church was on the verge of a split (without people knowing what he was), but after he left, the church started growing. It has about three times as many people now as it did before.

A lesbian pastor may be better for you than some person who on the face of it can tick the right boxes. But if she's practicing lesbianism I would think it would degrade her relationship with God quite a bit. But she may be better than a potential pastor who has lots of invisible sins like pride etc, but says all the orthodox things.

Excellent, All too many churches would have given in and let the loonies take over.
I really admire you guys, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Jesus would have done the same thing as you...I'm an atheist myself, but that story makes me have hope for the world. Thank you very much for sharing.

Nah. A loving, vibrant person of any sexual orientation would have been accepted by all at my church. But we aren't known for attracting a lot of conservatives.

First of all, you are full of it. Second, if you read from the same bible as I do, you will know that having someone in a leadership position, holds them responsible for their congregation. She is an abomination to God. So, how can He bless your church? Your church is in darkness.

I think you did the right thing. This reminds me of a group of homeless people here in my town that organized and started a tent city. The city kicked them off the lot so they appealed to different churches. Only one church agreed to help them. Sometimes you have to go against the grain to do the right thing. Bless you!

Is your pastor a practicing homosexual? If so you are all falling victim to something that is sinful. If this woman is not even in touch with God enough to be convicted on her sexual beliefs, then she has no business leading a church. Sorry, but it is the truth. The bible says that homosexuality is detestable in the eyes of God. Anyone who wants to and chooses to be under this woman's leadership is obviously deceived.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15:
13For such men are (B)false apostles, (C)deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
14No wonder, for even (D)Satan disguises himself as an (E)angel of light.
15Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, (F)whose end will be according to their deeds.

I have to assume that this pastor is not a gay person who follows a gay lifestyle. If that is the case, I too think it is wonderful. She not only is a good teacher but an excellent light unto you that no matter was causes us to sin we can overcome it with God/Jesus. My best to you.
