there is no such thing! duh. why do you fools believe in all this crap?

Yes in a way I think there is. Because there is an unforgivable sin. And the reason this sin can not be forgiven is because the person who commits this sin is in free will completely knowing the truth.

However God did make covenants by knocking people out so he can do what he likes. Lets not wait and see though.

Jesus Died for the sin of the whole world which we will all know and have a chance to accept before death. That is massive so I don't think there is a limit.

Your question requires a formal understanding of the concept of omnipotence.

The fact is that a supreme being, God, cannot act in an illogical manner with respect to that being's divine and perfect attributes. Hence, God cannot make a rock so big that He could not move it, nor could God do anything that would be a logical contradiction to His divine nature.

Omnipotence means God can do everything that is possible. Omnipotence doesn’t mean that God can do anything. The concept of omnipotence has to do with power, not ability per se. In fact, there are many things God can’t do, e.g.,

- God can’t make square circles.

- God cannot lie.

-**God cannot create a morally free creature that couldn’t choose evil or the creature would not be morally free to choose.**

None of these, though, have to do with power. Instead, they are logically contradictory, and therefore contrary to God’s rational nature.

See also:
"Whatever implies being and nonbeing simultaneously is incompatible with the absolute possibility which falls under divine omnipotence. Such a contradiction is not subject to it, not from any impotence in God, but because it simply does not have the nature of being feasible or possible. Whatever, then, does not involve a contradiction is in the realm of the possible with respect to which God is omnipotent. Whatever involves a contradiction is not within the scope of omnipotence because it cannot qualify for possibility. Better, however, to say that it cannot be done, rather than God cannot do it." (T. Aquinas Summa Theologica p. 163-164 , Volume I, ques. 15 ans. 3)

One needs to have a formal knowledge of philosophy and logic to understand the nature of omnipotence. Just claiming Go is all powerful so he can do anything is nonsensical to the trained listener.

So in answer to your question, God does have a limit on forgiveness. God cannot forgive the unforgiveable sin, that is the sin of ascribing to Satan what God has initiated through the Holy Spirit. This is the sin of rejecting God's call to righteousness, the ultimate blasphemy, saying that "i do not believe".

The limit is whatever your mind can conceive. Afterall, it was your deluded minds that created him in the first place. Try asking the question to a parent who has lost a child before it has even matured enough to know what a god is. I know that I am not about to take child rearing advice from a father who felt the need to drown his own children!

Christians will tell you there isn't, but the bible will tell you that there is! Firstly remember that God put more people to death than Hitler did, the bible is full of references to God's hate. According to the bible he will wash his feet with the blood of the sinners on the day of judgement. He also claims that it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter heaven - in other words god doesn't forgive rich people!

have a read at this:

But heres the good news! He's not real, so no need to worry, or fear god as the christians used to put it. (the christians of today decided they did not want to fear God and so started preaching something other than whats in the bible)

No I don't think so as long as we are committed to doing our very best to be obedient to his word. We all falter occasionally and sometimes even give in to the temptation of Satan but when this happens we know that the lack of peace is our heart means that we are not with God on it. This is a very uncomfortable sensation. I am not talking about feeling guilty...that is an emotion. I am talking about losing the peace that the Holy Spirit has brought to us and that we have every day as long as we believe and obey. I have done this myself and believe me when I say that I am not willing to lose that peace ever again. It is worth more to me than you could possible imagine if you have never had it.

That is the best question anyone could ask! The answer is

NO...NO...NO...NOT Ever for a second is there any limit...That's why it's called DIVINE LOVE; not human love at it's best; not human love in any form or human love times a million. It's a love we will never know from any mortal source, including religion...which will tell you there is a limit, but nevermind those folks...they put trust in ideas masquerading as love. They'll be okay; don't worry about them.

God made a covenant with us. The word covenant means "coming together." God wants to come together with us. In many of the stories in the Hebrew Bible, we see that God appears as a God who defends us against our enemies, protects us against dangers, and guides us to freedom. God is God-for-us. When Jesus comes a new dimension of the covenant is revealed. In Jesus, God is born, grows to maturity, lives, suffers, and dies as we do. God is God-with-us. Finally, when Jesus leaves he promises the Holy Spirit. In the Holy Spirit, God reveals the full depth of the covenant. God wants to be as close to us as our breath. God wants to breathe in us, so that all we say, think and do is completely inspired by God. God is God-within-us. Thus God's covenant reveals to us to how much God loves us.

When God makes a covenant with us, God says: "I will love you with an everlasting love. I will be faithful to you, even when you run away from me, reject me, or betray me." In our society we don't speak much about covenants; we speak about contracts. When we make a contract with a person, we say: "I will fulfill my part as long as you fulfill yours. When you don't live up to your promises, I no longer have to live up to mine." Contracts are often broken because the partners are unwilling or unable to be faithful to their terms.

God's love for us is everlasting. That means that God's love for us existed before we were born and will exist after we have died. It is an eternal love in which we are embraced. Living a spiritual life calls us to claim that eternal love for ourselves, though our human love is broken.

When our broken love is the only love we can have, we are easily thrown into despair, but when we can live our broken love as a partial reflection of God's perfect, unconditional love, we can forgive one another our limitations and enjoy together the love we have to offer.
God did not make a contract with us; God made a covenant with us, and God wants our relationships with one another to reflect that covenant. That's why marriage, friendship, life in community are all ways to give visibility to God's faithfulness in our lives together.
