We are commanded to defend our faith and to witness to others. If we don't do that we disobey God. We are not to push our faith on anyone. If they don't believe we go to someone else.

I personally like to try and just live a good Christian life and to be an example to others. To in all things glorify God and hopefully that outwardly portrays my faith. I do not believe that I can force or push God onto a person. I believe that it is my job to be Christlike and let God do the rest. I absolutely believe that it is OK to get a person thinking or inquisitive about God. It is a slippery slope on how to do that. I am certainly no expert on witnessing to others. I totally disagree with being pushy that's not to say I haven't inadvertently been that way myself. I will talk about it to anyone open to hearing it though.

I talk about my faith to others, i cant help it.....but i dont try o convert every second person i speak to about faith. That is Gods job, I plant the seed, but he lets it grow. He works in people's hearts which is something Christians cannot do. We cannot change people's hearts. We can only give info, people can decide what they do with it themselves.

Christians are only supposed to Show people, not to force them. People will come to God by them selves. God is powerful enough to do His own saving. If we let our light shine others will see.

If someone asked me a question ,i would answer it truethfully. People will ask more questions after a while and God will work in their hearts.

I thing faith or lack of faith is personal.

However there is a part of the Bible that says something about go out and preach and some Christians take that as a direct order from God.

I like to talk to people about religion. I'm not of any particular faith or denomination, but I do like to let my beliefs known. However, I also like to hear the beliefs of others. I expect the same of them as I do of myself; talk about your beliefs but don't say that I'm wrong just because I don't see things they way you do. You treat my views with respect, and I'll do the same for you.

Actually I feel compelled more than obligated. I chose to be a child of God. When you have the love of the Lord in your life you want so to share the wonderful truths with others. Therefore as a commandment we are told to go and preach the Gospel so others can partake of this wonderful love that God has for all his created. To redeem us unto Himself.

If you ask me I'll tell you.
As far as me chasing you down, not going to happen.
I had enough of that twenty some years ago.
As far as using the scare-em into the kingdom operation. No thanks, don't believe in it.
As far as pointing out peoples deficiencies, no thanks.
Getting riled at someone trying to say I'm a fool and lacking intellect and being disrespectful of my belief and me for believing. Yes indeed. This is a natural reaction for human beings.
It is like an assault on their persona.

I will say one thing, I was born into a religion. When I found out it was false, I had two angers. I was angry at the religion for lying to me. I was angry at myself for believing it.

I try to find out if somebody might be interested, and if they are not, I leave them alone. Trying to push religion on somebody that doesn't want it is wasted energy. There are people who want to know, you just have to find them.

If your truth is so hard to find you have to spend millions of dollars, and countless man hours telling the world about it, using fear and deception.... well, used car dealers are less obscene about the way they operate, so what does that tell you?
