Are you ever concerned that your desire to mate may interfere with your ability to properly reason?

Afraid you may get the "wrong" one, have kids by him/her, or that they may abuse you or cheat on you?

Ever afraid you may be a victim of the rose colored glasses people get when in certain relations, thereby blinding you to key signals of what they may be up to?

Ever fear you may be married before you are really ready, pressured into doing things you really are not into?

I just want to know. Be honest, pls! Thanks!

In a nutshell, yes.

What scares me the most is how often I choose second best only because I'm too scared to look outside the box and see what's really going on/out there.

I don't think its a matter of other people's pressure, but simply me pressuring myself to make the best of a bad situation and not waking up and realising what's going on before it's too late. . .

you know, i'd be lying if i said no.. everyone has their perfect match in their mind and in the biginning most couples seem pretty happy.. but you still see all these married men and women complaining all the time.
