Somebody please help me I will choose the first answer as the best!!
Who says these 2 statement at the end of act 3 in an inspector calls???

“So nothing really happened? So there’s nothing to be sorry for, nothing to learn? We can all go on behaving just as we did”

and

“Everything we said had happened really and happened. If it didn’t and tragically, then that’s luck for us”

Off the top of my head - I think it was Mr or Mrs Birling when they were celebrating the fact Gerald Croft found out Inspector Goole was fake.
