Im guessing you mean cheaper no name brands right? Well the cereals to me taste exactly the same, but as far as cookies go I would say that you can never duplicate an oreo cookie. Canned foods are also good when it comes to these brands.

Yes, the are much cheaper.

In my opinion, it has always been cheaper to buy your own cereal but again that depends on what kind of cereal it is. Things like almonds and granola and even raisins these days are so expensive. My favorite cereal that is healthy and high in fiber is Cranberry crunch by Kellogg's if you're interested. On the other hand, cookies, I think, are cheaper to make than to buy. You can make around 6 dozen per average batch for around 5 bucks as opposed to 3 bucks for a dozen on the shelf and they are warm and give your home a nice warm welcome smell.

Cereal, pretty much so I think

Cookies, branded are better I think

For the price difference(there usually is a big one) I go with store brand. Some are better than others.

Yea and they are cheaper too. Just last week they had a recall on peterpan peanut butter and walmart brand because there was something wrong with them so you know they both came out of the same batch they just put different stickers on the jars and charge different prices.

Trust me are. And yes the are cheaper because they don't need to advertise. They all taste the same and buying the store brands actually does save you money.

it really depends on the homebrand some can be quite good and others taste like cardboard...you need to pay attention to the weight in the packages to see if your actually getting a bargain...

Homemade is always better because you control the ingredients and quality of everything. And no preservatives.
And, it is not always cheaper to make it yourself, but it usually is.
