Is it true that if you put tothpaste on your face it helps get rid of pimples??

ok well i have toothpaste on my forehead right now.... how long do i leave it on?? lol

toothpaste with flouride I think, works. It helps oxidate it. You may look for the paste over the gel. It will reduce the redness and swelling. It may not be as good as other products though.

I have heard this and even tried. I tried it with pepsodent toothpaste. I applied at night and slept. In the morning those parts of the skin were black in color. The black marks went only in the late evening that day. But the pimples did not go. It depends on your skin. Always consult a doctor.

i have heard this, and it is because it drys the skin like many of those topicals. i think it has to be a paste, not a gel. maybe try, tea tree oil, calendula soap, or apple cider vinegar. get exercise and early morning sun.

I've heard rumours, but you I thinnk that you are just putting chemicals on your face. But all face cleansers are like that. Look for acne control stuff with benzoil peroxide. That will help.

I guess you would have to use white toothpaste like a skin mask.

I believe if it applied to pimples it helps dry them up. Its' not used for prevention.

I heard that many many years ,and might have tried it , its an old
rwise tail,work for some not others
