would you convert in order to save your life? Or would you let them kill you? If someone said that they would put you in jail because of your faith, would you convert or would you let them put you in jail? Just interested what other ppl out there would do.

I'd lie like a carpet, and PRETEND to convert. That way, I would live to escape from those people, reach freedom, and tell the world the truth about them.

Yes, I would rather die than convert. I will never give up, never surrender and never bow down to an alien God. I will keep my Troth to my Gods and Goddesses to the bitter end.
I wouldn't let my would be converters just kill me, I'd put up one hell of a fight and they may very well end up being the dead ones.

I would die for my faith because Jesus is the only One I could live for. If I died, i would go to heaven. What better place to go to. In heaven, I will live forever. If I had to come up against someone that told me to convert, it would probably be in another country helping people to live better lives than they are living.
I want to go help people in the dumps in other countries so I would be doing the work of God and dying for Him too. I will get a crown. That is not why I want to die for Him. He has died for me to save me from my sins. What could I do better but to die for HIm.

my faith is the most precious to me and it is the only thing that would save me in the hereafter which is more imp than that life.
though , religion shouldn't be put into ppl's throat , evry one has the right to choose and only god is the one who judges!!

I would die in an instant for God. Never, would I give into the threats of someone insisting that I bow down to their false god. I would sooner die than even think of saving myself by rebuking my Lord and Savior.

I would not convert in either situation. My beliefs and convictions are strong enough to die for without a problem.

You mean like the mujadeen are doing to the villagers in Africa on a daily basis? Many of them are dying because they won't bow down to Allah. I would like to think I"d be as strong as they are, but I wouldn't know until it actually happened.

I would formally convert to their faith, but in my heart I would always stay an atheist and would try to get away from these people to be free again.

I would have to let them kill me or put me in jail. If we deny our God in adversity then he will deny us upon our Earthly demise and we won't be given entry into Heaven.

Been done to people of my faith already. Many of us died. The survivors eventually married enough christians it became a moot point. Since Asatruar don't care who you worship while maintaining our own faith, many children from these mixed marriages were raised christian. We're now a very small religion. (But growing)
And yes, I would die before I would betray my gods and my kin. Queen Sigrith is one of my personal heroes, as she should be to all Asatru women!
