yes deaf even if some one was to say to you put it on a cool setting wouldnt make any difference as when you go out into the cold weather that can also damage your hair thats why they are always coming up with new shampoos and spray in conditioners etc
my hair was damaged through so called mate bleaching it so much my hair is so damaged that ive been told not to blow dry it whats so ever to let it dry normal
i havent blown dry my hair now for over 9 months now and with all my bad hair growing out and new lot coming through i can see the difference its making by not using a hair dryer or straightners
if your hair is very dry or course try to avoid hair dryer at all costs
or even damaged!
its a good question as where ever you go hair dressers always using them every house hold has one
it can damage your hair but everyone still users them! strange :*)

Yup any kind of directly applied heat is damaging to the hair that's why it is recommended that a heat protection spray is used if you not keen on using heat sprays on your hair you can air dry it naturally simply by shaking your hair vigorously for a short while or you can wrap a towel round your hair/head which will trap the heat given off and gently dry the hair

Yes. Cause the heat is been directly aimed at the hair it causes the hair to become brittle and dry. Your best bet to prevent this or to make it better is to use plenty of conditioner to lock moisture, try getting one for dry brittle hair. Befor you dry your hair buy an Heat Protector spray and spray it evenly through the hair. You can get these sprays from most Supermarkets. I use Superdrugs own, which is really good and smells great!!!

The heat drys out all the oils that cleans your hair, if the oils dry up, your hair can get dry and ends can split, if its done everyday for a long period of time, your hair may start to fall out, same goes for straightening your hair

Yes. most people believe that. You are just basically drying your hair out, and if you use it to much your hair will need major moistureizor.Sorry for spelling. Use the hairdryer about 3 times a week and try to wash your hair when you have time to naturaly dry it.

Yes - any heat that is applied to your hair will cause damage. It is important to use heat sprays to minimise any damage and if possible only blow dry it when necessary

blow drying your hair is not damaging to it, as long as you don't have the heat up too high, and you hold the hair dryer away about 1 inch from your hair. then as your just ending the process, turn the hair dryer to cool air, and that will ease your hair up. i'm 14, and thats what i do.

Too much hot air contact will make your hair brittle and it may tend to break or cut. Mild hot air doesn't do any harm. For hair care you care check some of the good websites..
