Tell him that you really still care and you'll be there whenever he needs someone to talk to. And if you you really still love him, tell him that you regret that you guys are not together anymore!!

Nothing we do is ever quite so hard as honestly sharing with another person how we feel for and about them. If you are being honest with yourself, it starts there first you know, then the next step is to let him know... If the feeling is mutual, and you've said nothing to indicate that it is not, then your initiative will set the ball rolling. Men, at least us sane ones, appreciate honest women who know what they want and who are not coy about saying so.
