You should follow the directions for the recipe you are making and/or follow your silicone pan instructions Most recipes for breads or quick breads will tell you to grease the pan, but if the dough/batter has a high grease content, the pan may not need greasing and the recipe will tell you to put it in on ungreased pan, or to only grease the bottom of the pan.

Online, the first source I found says nothing is non-stick and you should still lightly oil/grease the silicone pans. The second source at about.com says greasing is not necessary.

When in doubt about to grease or not to grease, I use a light spraying of Baker's Joy (or another spray that combines shortening and flour, such as Pam with Flour.)

Yes. I use mazola spray, but you could also use crisco and flour.
