Why there is a hair whorl in our scalp?

All humans have a hair whorl in their scalp. why it is there? Why cant be the scalp without a hair whorl?

Well...I guess its just the way our hair grows.

Hair has to start growing someplace when we're babies, I guess that's why we have a hair whorl.
