I do believe that after we die, we will be given a new body that will last for an eternity. If you put your trust in Jesus Christ as Savior while here on earth you will have a place with a loving Creator for all eternity, if you turn away from God and His promises, you will still exist but will be separated from God forever and die for eternity for your sins and go to a place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, and endless fire that will not consume and no hope forever(which is a really long time.)

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior?

Do you trust in the promises of God?

I haven't heard anything about "Glenn Hoddles" or his comments, but the concept of re-birth from the Buddhist point of view is all about the condition of the mind at death and your karma (which is also a by-product of your mind). It makes perfect logical sense to me that we're responsible for our own actions and that our actions have logical results.

When one examines the more immediate results of our actions and that makes logical sense, why wouldn't the lasting effects be just as logical? So if your mind is so laden with aversion or grasping and attachments that your mind will do the same thing after it leaves this body? We're already, normally attracted to doing certain things in this life, it's logical that we'd still gravitate towards certain things after this life, thereby causing us to take rebirths accordingly, such as in the hell realms, deva realms, formless realms, etc.

Yes.I believe like many others that we come back to this earth time and time again,to learn our lessons in life and become better, and more spiritual people. Some people believe that when we have a really difficult life, it is the result of our karma from our previous life. Its hard to say if this is true as the majority of us dont remember our past incarnations, though there have been many cases of people, especially children who have clear memories of past lives.

I don`t believe or disbelieve, but.....
If it is true and does happen, most of us had better watch out, and we can come back as anything or anybody!

Think about it!

You might come back as an Aztec victim, to be sacrificed on a mountain top!
Or a Hitler victim to go into the Gas chambers.
Or - to be more optimistic...
Destined to be the world`s richest man, or most beautiful woman!

Yes, I was raised buddist, so believing in reincarnation was just natural. Now I'm agnostic, but I still do believe in reincarnation.

No I don't believe in reincarnation. I believe we live, then we die. End of story

Christians believe in reincarnation. They profess to be "born again."

"The 'old' man has died, behold, a 'new' creature is born." Yep, reincarnation.
