I met him, than throught mutual friends, I found out he liked me or was attracted to me..Anyhow, after he got my number he didn't call me at all the first week and I thought he wasn't intrested so I ignored him. Than a week after that we talked and I asked him why didn't call and he said he did but it was the wrong number so he got my number again and called me that night. We talked for 3 hours, he told me I wasn't anything like the girls he met. Since than he's been calling me EVERYDAY and we talk until like am hours.. We talked for like 4 hours one night. Than we started going out like a week ago but he hasn't held my hand yet. When we hug he asks if he can hug me. He said "I get nervous with you. I want everything to be perfect. With other girls I don't care like I hold their hand and makeout the first day but I don't know why I am like this with you." Last night he asked me if he can "touch" my butt? Is he playing me? What is going on here?

i just had a guy just like that.. he got Extremely nervous around me, and told me so.. we used to talk to am hours forever too.... but he never asked me if he could hold my hand or hug me, he just did. so i don't know.. but they sound the same other than that.. and he turned out to have been playing me.. so i don't know, i hope your guy doesn't do the same thing. it sounds like he really likes you though and Wants More than just some unmeaningful relationship with you.. he sounds like he found someone who he really wants to not mess things up with, because you mean a lot to him. although if he is asking if he can touch your butt and stuff and moving at that level, he could also have sense that you are going to be kindof a challenge, so he is trying to move things slow, but not Too slow.. if you know what i mean. honestly, you have to ride things out because you never know. i'm sure you'll find out soon... if he tries to pressure you into something soon then you'll know that he was not being very sincere.. he Could have said that to All his last girls... it could be his "line" that he found that Works for him.

he probably likes you a lot and he wants to make sure he does everything correctly, or at the right time, so that you don't get mad or anything like that.
tell him that he doesn't need to ask and that he should just go for it.
personally, i think he's asking because he doesn't want to be disrespectful towards you. give him a chance. he seems like a really nice guy.
and if you want to hold hands with him, grab his hand first. then he'll know and he'll do it first the next time he sees you.
