I'm looking to travel to Catalina, but it seems like all the condos and houses for rent require a weeks rental in the summer. Is there anywhere that doesn't? Also, where is the best place to look for rentals that are not so expensive?

I think if you want to rent some place for less than a week that is less expensive you will be out of luck. That is their peak season and they have got to make their money in a limited period of time..You might try one of the bed and breakfast places or check the Chamber of Commerce web sites for some local Realtors....

Here is an inexpensive hotel. It is not majorly luxurious but you will most likely not spend a whole lot of time indoors.
