Science and religion are uncomparable, you can't compare cauliflowers with tv sets. Religion are faith and belief, and science are facts and objetive thinking.

Maurice Bucaille is a convert to Islam, you will not get much scientific truth from him. Islam and Christianity do not support freethinking, only the advancement of their particular mythology.Superstition has never, and will never compare to any discipline of Science, how can you compare sky fairies with reality?

actually, as each and every individual could, i think of its substantial to understand how technology proves or disproves non secular ideals. To be ideal, archeology has shown helpful in unearthing cities and historic places suggested interior the bible. looking evidence of the gospel writings relationship back to approx AD60 is yet another. i'm no longer fairly attentive to ANY firmly held Christian thought that has been DISCOUNTED with the help of technology. hey, technology has even now shown that mankind may be traced back to a single woman and guy interior the element of the midsection east. Even moreso, the girl's DNA seems to predate the mans which would be defined with the help of the story of the flood.

yup i have. in fact, thats what my dissertation/essay/project thing for my A-levels was on - comparing modern science and religion.
its an interesting topic. i guess i probably should have read everyone elses answers before i started writing mine, because i have no idea what they said!!!
science will never replace religion. it just cant. people will always need something (real or not) to believe in. although i dont see why the two cant coincide.
interesting topic.

They are both about the search for truth and don't contradict if you don't believe the Bible is literally true. I don't believe the Bible is literally true because I worship God not a set of words written down by fallible human beings.

There is nothing scientific about the koran or the bible. Seen many people declare the 'scientific miracles' of the koran. What a load of bullsh it. Koran, more than the bible, is full of outright contradictions, chronological errors, historical mistakes, and outright absurdities.

true science will not contradict the Bible...
only close-minded "scientists" reject it as a source of factual data...
