I think Sunday should be the day we call a truce a day were we can all get along, Thats is what YA is about, we are supposed to be learning from each other not fighting. Sunday should be a day of peace, On sunday I promise not to compare Jesus to Harry Potter or compare the New Testament to the thrid season of Lost(which isn't very good) What are some things that you will promise not to do on Sunday?

Sunday is JUST another day for me, like Christmas and my birthday. I can respect calling a truce, but you already know what happens when you do. That is when people try to kick. The third season of Lost, (I likes) is not that bad. I promise I will not rate anybodies answers a thumbs down anymore.

1) Atheism isn't a religion. Except to Fundamentalist Christians who can't conceive of someone not having a religion. But then they can't conceive of much outside of their way of looking at the world.
2) Sunday is the day when there are just tons of "Athiests,....." questions. Even if I stick to the main page, it's so tempting to look in on some of them, just to see what silliness the Fundies are getting up to today.
3) I promise to continue to speak my piece without fighting.
Just like I do any other day of the week.

Atheism isn't a religion.
And why should Sunday be a truce day? Sunday is ONLY a holy day to the Christians, not anyone else. I'm not going to back off on Sundays just because its their holy day.

Nope...Sunday is just a day like any other. I don't believe in god so why should I honor any particular day of the week just because someone else does? Are you going to honor Thursday because some people worship Thor? Not hardly...so Sunday is fair game just like any other day.

I think instead of just giving up our bad habits it is more important to think about the positive things we want to do to improve our relations and life on Earth. We should start on Sunday and carry it on through the week - OR at least try to!
To love is the answer - whatever the question!

I guess you're right, it's a great idea. We just can't rest until we've stopped the opposition's lies. I'm not even going to tell you what camp i'm in! But i know i won't stop fighting them, and i know they won't. Maybe some day it won't have to be a 24 hour job.
