Luke says it one sentence. Mark also one sentence.

Your great leader rises into the sky, presumably headed for Heaven -- and of the four Biblical accounts of his life, written by faithful followers, two don't mention the event and two others report it with barely one sentence?

Question: What's up with that??

Moreover, none but his closest followers reported seeing him after his supposed resurrection.

AND YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THIS STUFF UNDER PENALTY OF ETERNAL DAMNATION?

First, Jesus become already God even as He created the heavens and the earth. lengthy earlier He become born to Mary. 2d, the Bible does no longer let us know everywhere what number of people stated Jesus ascend into heaven. The Bible does let us know that over 500 stated Jesus alive at one time. a million Cor 16:6 After that, he looked as if it would better than of the brothers mutually, maximum of whom are nevertheless living, although some have fallen asleep. it style of feels to me you opt for to spend slightly extra time studying the Bible because you neglected the documents. and also you're making a mountain out of a moehill. Okay, there are 4 gospels for a reason. One major reason is because different gospels cover different aspects. Why would they put all 4 in the Bible if they all said the exact same thing? Why not just clump them all together? It's because they all have their own unique language, their own unique perspective, and each of them were led to write what they did in a different way.

If both of us watched a guy a wrote out his life story, how many people would expect our stories to be identical? How many instances do you think there would be of our perspectives being totally different on the exact same event? I'm sure you've seen two people fight before because they didn't see eye to eye on the same subject. It happens all the time on this Q&A board.

you are wrong. Luke wrote about it in the gospel of Luke and in the book of Acts chapter one.

Why are you insisting that all writers have to write the same things?

Actually, there is a remarkable amount of information that is recorded in all of the gospels about his death, burial, and resurrection. His ascension into the heavens is not nearly as important as his resurrection.

you are also wrong about his post-resurrection appearances. He was seen by many followers, at least once by 500 or more.

read your bible and then you won't have to ask so many questions!!

god bless

Each of the gospel authors made up things to put in the story to try to make it more convincing. Because They didn't always come up with the same ideas, there are differences between the stories.

Cause it never happened.

And yes, you have to believe it under penalty of Hell and all the torment that Hell can provide throughout eternity, forever and ever amen. That's a fundamental tenet of the church people.

If you don't believe in their hoax I feel sorry for you.

And I don't believe it under penalty of eternal damnation. That's just something damned people say.
