Depends on your activity level, the more active you are the more you will loose, but you may not be able to sustain all of your regular activities like watching TV staying alert at work/school, breathing etc.. Just for that you need 1200 calories a day.
In the end you will most likely drop between 7 to 10 plds, without much effort. You might not feel very well at the end of it. And you will put on all the weight you lost when you return to your regular eating habits.

It doesn't always help, I've tried it. It depends on how large you are to begin with, how active you are and how your metabolism usually works. You should try and do what i do. eat between 1000-1100 calories a day, and work off between 500-700 calories. That way you're still eating enough calories, you're toning up, speeding up your metabolism and still likely losing weight.

it depends on your basal metabolic rate. that is how many calories your body needs to survive everyday.

so if your basal rate is 3000 cal per day, you are eating 2300 less than normal. 2300 time 5 days is 11,500 calories.
Since 3500 is 1 lbs of fat you would lose just over 3 lbs

more if you exercise.

and if you don't die!

It depends on how much you usually eat, your size and activity. There's no way to say how much you will lose without that info.
