Sunday is the Lords day, Jesus rose from the grave on Sunday.
We don't go to church because its Sunday, we go because we are Christians and we are to gather and worship in unity. But we are Christians everyday, even more so during the week. Some of us also go on Wednesday for prayer meeting and Bible Study.

This question has been argued since the beginning of religion. It all started with the bible saying and God rested on the 7th day.Well who really knows what the 7th day was back then? I will answer this NO ONE!!!! So all the religions fight about it .Most observe Sunday mainly for the convenience even thou its the 1st day of the week.then the small group of seventh day Advents observe Saturday the last day of the week. But you know what?It doesn't matter!!!!!!!!! that's right it really doesn't matter what day you go to church ya know why? because religion was invented by man as a way to get power and make money. So forget the organized religion crap and worship God on a daily basic thank him every day for you life and you friends your be allot better off.And no you wont go to hell for not attending Sunday service as your parents or preacher will have you believe. They think they can scare you into joining the church this way.Good Luck and God Bless.

We should worship God 24/7. Why most people do it on Sunday?, because Sunday is a day that most people usually have off. Many people in religious countries such as India do not frequent temples because their home is a temple and they do worship at home in regular everyday basis. There is no set time for going to church or worshiping God, He is available 24/7, so we decide what is our best time.

Some boys go to meet girls, vice versa, some go to show off their jewels, clothes. You are making your god look so small. What kind of god that listens only on sundays, and is busy on weekdays?

Okay: here's the word: God created the world in seven days. The seventh day he rested. That is Sunday. You'd think that God did enough in seven days, so why don't we thank him. Return the favor: he gave us a world. We give him praise.

i guess because the 7th day he rested ,so we give that day to GOD no resting day at all now ,because if Sunday is the 7th day we are all bothering him with prayers at church, so he is not resting on the 7th day

It's the only place where Satan isn't... Maybe... Except when Satan sneaks into church.
