My fiancee and I would like to elope this May and have only $1500 to work with. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble planning an out of town wedding on our budget. Can you please help me figure out where we should go and more specifically who has a wedding package we can afford?

Expenses to consider:
1. Gas for car (or airfare). We are based in Buffalo, NY and are willing to drive anywhere within a 10 hr.'s drive.
2. Hotel
3. Wedding services - should include photography since we won't be having any guests
4. Fiancee's ring - $120 (overstock.com - the ring has already been chosen).
5. Spending money
6. Marriage license

Please take into account all of the above factors when answering. An answer like "Niagara Falls," doesn't help me.

Hi!

I did a search on elopement packages and got a lot. Here is one that totally seems affordable. It is in Maine.

Check it out and best of luck with your wedding.

1. Baltimore, MD - It's on the beach, and a pretty city. Roughly 7.5 hours, with gas (depending on your car's milage), it will cost about $100 - $140 round trip (based on $2.42/g and 30 mpg on your car)

2. Hopkins Inn - Bed and Breakfast will seem more personal than a hotel, and be more fun. This one ranges from $139 - $159 per night for a guest suite.

3. Don't know if you're getting married in a church or not, so can't help you with that. As for photography, that's your wild card. It really depends on who you find and how many pictures you want. The site below looked relatively inexpensive as far as wedding photographers go. Provided you don't get too many pictures, you should be able to get away with about $400 for pictures.

4. Ring - $120

5. $641 - $701 - This is based off the lowest and highest prices that I have found here. You could spend more on pictures, or just use this to sightsee and enjoy yourselves.

6. Marriage License - $40 - I think that it would be easier to just get your license in Buffalo before you leave. Keep in mind that you must get it one day before you actually get married.

Total price (without spending money): $799 -$859

This was actually a lot of fun. I hope that you guys have a great time, and congratulations!

Try this website. This chapel is located in Gatlinburg TN. You could easily fly there. My wedding including pictures was like 700, but that wasn't the cheapest package. It is a beautiful little chapel.. and they even have a company that offers a discount on lodging. It is beautiful. Good luck and congrats.

so a procedures as i recognize, elopement is a shhh secret. You and your honey could desire to %. a place which you the two might like, and bypass there. enormous Sur sounds stunning. Then once you come back as Mr. and Mrs. and tell all, plan a great dinner and share the happiness. good success and happiness to you the two.

The wife jumped on the train and went to the Grand Canon to get married. We got a very good package deal with Amtrak and Holiday Inn. It might be something to check in to. Good Luck
