I personally don't approve of translating the Bible from its original King James version. That's why people who read Hebrew are going right to Hell.

Mayor, Some question if there should have ever been a "New King James" version written at all. In no way is the NKJ bible the first revison of the original KJ bible. There were others before:
the Revised Version --> American Standard --> Revised Standard -->the New Revised Standard Version.

Although we may not get the near poetic flow of the English language found at the time, what we avoid by reading the newer versions are: (1) an inadequate textual base; (2) archaic words; and (3) errors in translation.

Still, to each his or her own.

Many versions of the bible existed before the King James and the advent of mass printing.

For accurate translations of the bible at the literal level use the NASB or ESV translations.

KJV version is the ONLY reliable Bible. If you don't have the King James Version, you don't have a Bible

It doesn't. Some of the words are changed to more modern ones. The story is the same, however. There is no alternate ending.
