I was in Walmart with my daughter when she saw a boy she liked. She pretended to be looking through a little basket of sale items on a bottom shelf. I quietly substituted a shopping cart overflowing with Depends for hers. Another good thing is to have them paged using a nick name with their last name - and one time at Safeway when my daughter said - there's Jessica, she's such a snob. She is the most popular girl in my school. I made a racing car sound and at a jog, rammed my cart into hers, ...My kids hate me. hee hee

Man, these people need to chill out!!! I think its hilarious when kids are embarrassed of their parents in public! My dad always tried to embarrass me for kicks in public when I started going through puberty. He got to me a lot at first, but by the time I was 15, I had comebacks and could defend myself pretty well. I proud of that! What's really funny is that back then he could still embarrass me but only when he wasn't trying! Anyway, I can't wait till I have kids and can embarrass them!

OMG.. You better stop, this may seem fine and dandy now but guess what. Those small little things we say and do will suddenly come out in the most inconvenient time ever. Then they know that they are doing it, it will happen over and over again. Kids are kids, they make moments out of everything. We as parents should have funny little moments with our children, but it might hurt when they ask someone else to go to that parent function or social besides you. Lead by example.

WOW
You ever wonder why they don't come to you unless they need money? Do you not have any friends your own age? You don't have to worry about the parent of the year award if every time your kids open up to you you ambush them. This behaviour won't help them learn proper social behaviour you might as well send them out on their own now wild wolves would be more compassionate. please try out for the TV show Wife Swap or Changing Places because you need an attitude adjustment. If you don't like kids don't have them

I'm not sure why you are laughing, because I do not see the humour in it. That's absolutely awful that you get so much pleasure out embarrising your daughter. I mean all parents embarrese their kid at some time, but doing this repeatidly is immature. Put yourself in your daughters point of view, how EXACTLY do you think she feels?? Ramming your cart into someone else's cart, that is just bizarre. I think you seriously need to consider your job as a parent, to love and give your child they best life they deserve.

i did it to, it was so fun.i was my kids bus driver, so i seen them and their friends all the time, when tthey were in middle school, i had kind-of a junkie car, when i drove them to school, they'd say mom dint pull up all the way with this hoopdy.so i pulled up as far as i could and honked the horn, then as they got out i say, by i love you . i told them if they didn't quit being embarrassed i would dress up in a real short dress with pony tails and sit on there teachers lap at parent teacher conferences, they didn't trust me-so they stopped.they wouldn't even walk down the hall with me in school, they wouldn't say hi, but all their friends did., but ya it is fun and funny

watch out.

I know some people whose parents were like that, and these same people moved away and never visit their parents.
The parents will die alone and destitute, because of their kids' long memory.

Why would you do that? When you were their age would you like that. It's sorta insensitive and could lead to tour child ot speaking to you for a while.
