To any of you (numerous) people who have met their husband/wife online first, was there a certain spark you could feel before you two met? Did you think about him/her a lot in the day, like fantasizing, for instance? Are there any tell-tale signs that sorta told you both of you were meant to be?
I know his friends, he knows mine, I've seen his pictures, he's seen mine, I know they're real pictures, we've been talking for about a year online, and seem to really connect.

I think some of us know what u mean and how u feel. =-)

What while ur feeling this loving way, also keep in mind that u could be building up something that may not be. U have to keep in mind that all the glitter is not gold.

I think u may be more in love with the idea of being in love, don't get me wrong it can work out( we live in a crazy world) =-)

but just be very careful because all ur doing is talking and exchanging pictures the unknown can be exciting . but u did say ( it SEEMS to really connect)

I do hope it works out and that the two of u met and have a long and wonderful future together.

On more than one occasion, I've had a 'feeling' about someone before meeting them...I've since learned not to trust that feeling. Too many times I found myself disappointed upon actually meeting. Don't get me wrong - I did meet some that I had something of a connection with and I have remained good friends with them. But currently, with my boyfriend (soon to be fiance) we didn't do a whole lot of communicating online. I ignored his first attempt to contact me on one of the dating websites, he found my on my friend's myspace page and added me...a week or two later at 4 a.m. while up and waiting for a friend to call to let me know she made it home okay I sent him a message to meet a friend and myself that next night for drinks and the rest history. Point being - I didn't allow much time to formulate some preconceived notion of who I thought he was, but rather allowed myself to formulate that opinion face to face. Usually much less disappointment that way.

it feels like you know the person even when you don't know her/him, it's an infatuation and then makes it real, very special.
