No. GMRS is authorized only in the USA and Canada. In the UK, the frequencies are used by business and public safety. you'd be subject to large fines and possible jail time using these radios, as you'd be interfering with these services.

You must purchase PMR-446 radios for use in the UK.

There could be a problem with their carrier frequency. If they do not operate on one of the permitted UK bands you will face a very large fine, criminal record and have your kit confescated.

This is a hard policy to ensure that they do not interfere with licenced radio equipment such as emergency services, radio control channels, hospital equipment and so on.

Check with the Office of Telecommunications first before you spend your money.

Make sure they are within the 27Megahertz band for transmission or OFCOM will be involved and don't forget the Power Limit for Citizen's Band Radio Transmissions.

Between each other, yes. With other two ways in the UK , unknown. I suggest you check the customs laws first, you might save yourself a whole heap of trouble.

PS: The frequencies they use might interfere with police or other services. Once again check with Customs officials before you buy.
