Try using a laser pointer light. See if the cat will follow the light on the floor. Look at the cat's eyes. Do they look cloudy or look like they have a white "film" over them? If they do, then it is likely that the vision is gone or impaired. At best, at that point, it could be cateracts and you could have them removed. Just don't change the furniture around. You should make sure that the cat feel comfortable in it's surroundings. I would certainly be patient and please don't get rid of the cat just because you think it is blind. This would traumatize the cat and it would be in much worse shape.

I got a crazy cat too he do exactly the same as running into the walls and doors when he is playing..but about a window is something different, mostly seem to be that animals don't see/recognize so good if there is open or closed. especially when they are kitties..but with the time he is gonna get used to it and gonna do it more carefully..My cat had done the same but now he have learned that there is a piece of glass there that wont let him out xD..I don't think your cat is blind... but if he is not playing and just walking someplace and get into a wall.. will be weird.. then u should take him to the vet..

I had a cat who was blind and she would do this weird swaying thing with her head when you spoke to her like she was trying to hone in on where exactly you were at. So unless his eyes are whitish looking or he always travels through the house near the walls I would say he's just a goofy cat or he may have some kind of a neurological problem

I would suggest taking your kitty to a Health Care professional,i.e. the Vet. The problem sounds serious enough for this line of action. I had a male tabby started going blind at age 17,and lived to the ripe old age of almost 22,with understanding the problem and a lot of T.L.C. you may have your kitty around for a long happy life.

Take your cat to the Vet as soon as possible. Not only might he have a vision problem, he could have a neurological problem as well. This is something that you should get checked out! Good luck!!

If your cat does not have vision problems, it might be some type of neurological disorder. Time to take him in to the Vet.
BTW-Is your cat white with blue eyes? That combo often develops blindness.

Maybe he is, or he might just be dopey I have cats that run into things they are so silly, bless 'em. Well if your cat is blind you would need a vet to confirm this, I hope that your cat is not blind and I wish you luck!

my gut feeling is that is old age
try holding the cat the attract its attention with something and see if it looks at it and then you will surely know
or the cat may not have slept for a few days which can cause this type of foolish behaviour
