In fact that is where I have a serious problem with Christianity. If it was prophesied and had to happen - why blame people who had no power to stop it!

The entire Christian religion isn't based on Jesus death. It's based on love. You know the Bible goes into depth farther back and Jesus. Yes he was a big part of it, but that's not all it's about. I don't think it would be called Christianity if there was not Jesus, because if he didn't exist then there wouldn't be a Christ. But yes I do belive it would still exist. And you know it dosen't really matter if anyone was blamed for his death. They were all forgiven in Jesus last words before he died on the cross "Father, forgive them, for they no not what they do"!
My personal religion is based on love. Because God is Love! I hope this helps you...good luck and god bless!

By his life, his death, and his resurrection, Jesus accomplished all that was necessary to reconcile man with God.
Since no one, not even Satan the devil had the authority to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only son of God, Jesus permitted himself to be crucified in order to bring about the destruction of Satan's evil dominion, which had enslaved mankind since Adam's original sin.
Everyone who played a part in Jesus' death did so freely and by their own volition, so everyone who was involved, shared in the responsibility.
The Jews and the Romans were willing pawns of the devil, and all eventually came under God's judgment for their actions.
Satan lost everything immediately, after Jesus died.
The Jews were scattered to the four winds, after the city of Jerusalem and the Temple were burned by the Romans, in 70 AD.
The Romans were later converted to Christianity, and then the empire was destroyed, about 400 years after that.
After some 2000 years, the Roman Catholic Church remains, the pillar and ground of God's truth.

Hi,
The Christian Faith is based on the Life and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus was a Jew and didn't come to change any of the Jewish laws...he came to fulfill them. Christianity is just an extension of the Jewish faith except we are under a new covenant. Christians don't have to sacrifice any animals because Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for every ones sins. So we can all be blamed for the death of Christ, but Christ forgave us of even that sin. Remember he said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" Got to love that guy. A King willing to die for his subject! Now that's a real King! Jesus was no wimp!

People in the church that don't actually read their Bible believe all kinds of craziness...No one killed Jesus...He handed himself over.
Pretty darn simple...But as NON-CHURCH-GOING Christian I like to keep it even simpler than that...God considered Abraham righteous over 400 years before there any 10 commandments, church or "praise and worship" songs.
Abraham just BELIEVED what God told him...He trusted God...There weren't any HOOPS to jump through...It doesn't get easier than that...People make it complicated so others can't find the truth.
Most church-goers aren't interested in the truth...They just want to be right...But if I were the Devil, that's how I'd want it to be.
But the big picture, as far as the Bible's concerned, is that one day Jesus will be in charge of the whole Earth...And that every person that ever lived will KNOW there's a God but many will simply refuse to be with him...It's more of choice than not jumping through the right hoops.
God won't condemn folks for standing in the wrong line...He looks at your heart...Are you a jerk or do you put others before yourself? Church-goers should ask themselves this question before asking others.

the cross became the symbol of christianity because the crusification of Jesus. The Crusifix and the crusification became the centre of the Christianity, together with blaming the Jews for his death. The church concentrated itself more on the Crusifix than on his teaching wich were based on the hebrew law, the Torah.

no longer all Christians pray to statues or perhaps use crosses of their symbolism. My church doesn't because we favor to concentration on the living Christ, quite than his attitude to demise. although the atonement is on the middle of our faith. Now, each little thing about how the atonement works is a huge subject matter, and that i'm certain you would have this question resolved earlier i ought to even commence to truly dig into it. So the most suitable i visit do is a speedy run-over of the fundamentals: a million) people are challenge to 2 forms of demise; actual (of route) and non secular (separation from God because we are imperfect and no impure element can live contained in the presence of God). 2) those 2 forms of deaths inherently bring about suffering. 3) as a thanks to be a merely God and a merciful God Jesus become chosen as a mediator, someone who ought to journey this scuffling via proxy for and in behalf people. merely Jesus ought to attempt this because he become with out sin, and via His dad and mom, from Mary, His mom, he inherited the potential to die, for God, His father, He inherited the potential to make certain no longer to die. 4) you need to submit to in ideas that the Atonement become made finished via the resurrection. it truly is the point, because of what Christ did we may be able to stay back - bodily, and we've the prospect to repent and stay back spiritually. As I suggested, that is only a bare skimming of the fundamentals. i'm hoping that made sense. most suitable needs

The christian religion is based on Jesus's teachings not his death...in the bible little is said about the actual killing, but full of his teaching and reasons to follow such a strong leader...his death was just to show his love for his people and that he was here for us.

Based on Jesus death, burial and resurrection. Jesus Christ resurrection give us hope of our own resurrection if our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Luke 20:35 - But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
Luke 20:36 - Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
John 11:25 - Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
