Benzyl Peroxide available in most OTC acne preparations helps clean out pores and reduce the problems associated with mild to moderate acne. Moderate to Severe Acne needs to be treated by a dermatologist. Products such as Retin-A reduce scarring which I believe is still prescription medication.

This will dry the area and disinfect as well, but will not help diminish the scar. You can try glycolic acid this will cure your acne and dimish your scar as the same time. Use the one with 2 % salicylic acid and 10% glycolic acid gel.

It won't help scars, no. It does kill bacteria that cause acne. I think peels and lasers are the only real way to get rid of scars. Try a retinol product or look for ingredients AHA or BHA which help exfoliate.

Use toothpaste with floride. Only on top of a pimple, not on you skin. A little dab will do it. In the morning you lift the pimple off.
