Any good ideas for toppings or sides for leftover chili? We've been eating it by itself, with french fries, tortilla chips, or rice, and I'm looking for something new! Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

I recommend at first to bake your chili topped with cheese and crackers(Ritz) for left overs, chili dogs, instead of rice use pasta, depending on the style of the chili you can turn it into a stew. A real thick chili is good to make a fratata. even try just adding mor stuff to it.

We always eat chili over mashed potatoes. Spoon the potatoes in a bowl, ladel on the chili, and top with shredded cheddar cheese and a little sour cream (if your chili is really spicy.)

Taco Salad
Garden and herb tortilla, deep fried and filled with crisp greens, taco meat, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced ripe olives and diced tomatoes. We top it with sour cream and serve it with salsa picante.

Homemade Chili
Fresh ground beef, simmered with Happy Chef's hand selected seasonings to a rich midwestern chili. Bold and hearty, but not to spicy.
Smothered
Shredded cheddar cheese, onions and sour cream.

I put leftover chili on a baked potato with cheddar, sour cream, green onions, olives, whatever sounds good.

But I also put cottage cheese and lettuce on baked potatoes, I'm weird.

For topppings I use shredded sharp cheddar, chopped green onion and sour cream. My favorite side is corn bread with minced green chilis added to the batter. Now I'm hungry!!! lol

Potatoes - either just boil/fry the potatoes and eat with the chilli, or make a casserole:

Peel and slice potatoes, put in casserole dish (add any other leftover veggies you may have), cover with chilli, and top with grated cheese. Bake.

(You can do the same thing using pasta instead of potatoes.)

Yummy!

All i could do replaced into have a superb tossed salad with a pair of salad dressings that folk like, and toppings for the chili like cheddar cheese and eco-friendly onions. you should get a loaf of french bread for those that like it. i'm no longer wild approximately cornbread myself.

Toppings - sour cream, shreded cheese, dumplings

Sides - flat bread or pitas, corn bread, hot dogs (or as a topping for hot dogs), Fritos (esp. the lime flavor), salad, sauted red and green peppers with onions & tomatoes

You could also freeze what's left and have it later when you're not bored with it.
