when is drinking too much and what age should a human be accountable for their stupid actions on gross intoxication? I personally being a bartender for 15 years think that from the time you consume is the time you realize whether you have a problem or not. the problem being that someone does out of the ordinary gestures and negative actions. i myself had a dad and step dad who chose buying and consuming alcohol over giving my mom money to raise her children. then i get stuck with not one, but two alcoholics! the one i'm with right now is a wonderful person, he just lies to me about his consumption because he knows how i feel about inmature people who can't come to the realization they can't drink alot without being stupid. please know that i also occassionally drink as well, but i've learned over the years not to try and hurt the ones that i love and love me. what do i do? can't live with stupidity the rest of my life!

I know how you feel. I did not grow up with it but the someone in my life has some issues with the consumption of alcohol.. It can't just me one or two. I has to be 10-20. It does make an impact on our family and our relationship. I just try to make it known that what he is doing is not exceptable and I will not live my life that way and there are some choices to be made.. I guess what it comes down to is what you can and won't live with...You have to find that within yourself...

do your own thing and if they choose to follwo then let them but do what you think is necassary...theres is nor right answer or wrong answer its just your answer...
