Call the doc who prescribed your antidepressant and tell him what's going on. I've never heard of an antidepressant linked to restless leg synrome (RLS). You can relieve the restless leg by doing some walking around before you go to bed, or soaking in a tub of warm/hot water and massaging your legs. Also get your blood checked. Low magnesium or sodium will cause your muscles to contract (among other things) as will not drinking enough fluids. Calcium from milk will also give you some relief. Perhaps you can take your antidepressant at a different time of day. That might help. In the mean time, call your doc and do a few things that will ease the RLS. You use to be able to buy quinine tabs at the pharmacy, but i'm not sure that they are available any longer. That also helps RLS. Godloveya.
