I have never heard of this job title.

Rather, I would ask the college's guidance department about placement rates, and ask to speak with someone "working in the field" before I enrolled in any classes.

Honestly, the courses seem too diverse to be of any specific value.

Communication Design? Sounds pretty vague. Well, if this is an electronic technical position, then the sky is the limit. The comm. industry is booming(wireless broadband, cell phones, etc.) A lot of what happens after training depends on you. You could be the expert in every field imagineable. You still have to go out there and apply it.
