Some people can take this length of time to conceive so don`t worry, because this will make matters worse. Look at your vaginal discharge, when the mucus becomes clear and jelly like instead of creamy and sticky, this is the time when you are ovulating (releasing an egg) this can be about two weeks after a period (bleeding). Good luck and enjoy yourself, don`t become too obsessed with the ultimate goal. Give yourselves another 6 months then go to your doctor and both of you get checked over.

As women have different cycles of ovulation it is difficult yo pinpoint exactly when you will ovulate.
You are only fertile for 2-3 days of the months. this normally happens somewhere between day 12 and day 18 depending on the length of yu cycle. But to cover all corners start from day 1 of you period: count this as day 1. From Day 10 make love every other day untill day 20.
Stay lying down in bed for at least 20 minutes, 30 minutes is better.
You can try lying on your tummy for some of this time as your cervix may be tilting one way or the other.
I hope this helps.

some people take a while hun took me 2 years, count 7 days from the first day of your period then try, maybe your stressing too much just relax, get drunk as your fully relaxed and let nature take its course............good luck
Day 1 starts with the first day of your period.
Usually by Day 7, a woman's eggs start to prepare to be fertilized by sperm.
Between Day 7 and 11, the lining of the uterus (womb) starts to thicken, waiting for a fertilized egg to implant there.
Around Day 14 (in a 28-day cycle), hormones cause the egg that is most ripe to be released, a process called ovulation. The egg travels down the fallopian tube towards the uterus. If a sperm unites with the egg here, the egg will attach to the lining of the uterus, and pregnancy occurs.
If the egg is not fertilized, it will break apart.
Around Day 25 when hormone levels drop, it will be shed from the body with the lining of the uterus as a menstrual period.

Women usually ovulate midway between the start of one period and the start of the next. The best time, they say, is to try a couple of days before the halfway mark and on the halfway mark.
I agree with a previous poster, however. If you've been trying for over a year now, it may be time to see a fertility specialist and have tests run on you and your partner.

First of all, is there a man involved in the process anywhere? If so, get him tested for a low sperm count. If not, that could be the problem right there.
