Yes, I have an authentic recipe that actually tastes like the real thing, BUT the real thing only has plain cornflakes and not crunchy nut ones. And you MUST serve it with custard.

Cornflake Tart

Ingredients
12oz short crust pastry
Teaspoon jam
4oz butter
4oz sugar
4oz Golden Syrup
6oz cornflakes
Few drops of vanilla essence (optional)

Method
Line a shallow tin with the pastry and bake blind. Spread with the jam. Cream the butter and sugar; add the syrup and vanilla (if required). Soften the mixture in the microwave for a few seconds because the mixture is very stiff at this stage and not easy to spread. Stir in the cornflakes and spread onto pastry case. Bake for ½ hour gas 5. Do not overcook as the cornflakes will burn at the edges. When cooked, leave it to cool down a bit so the cornflakes become more crunchy.

Cornflake Tart – Shorter version
8 inch pre-cooked sweet pie crust

Ingredients
Teaspoon jam
2oz butter
2oz sugar
2oz Golden Syrup
3oz cornflakes
Few drops of vanilla essence (optional)

Method
Spread pie crust with the jam. Cream the butter and sugar; add the syrup and vanilla (if required). Soften the mixture in the microwave for a few seconds because the mixture is very stiff at this stage and not easy to spread. Stir in the cornflakes and spread onto pie crust. Bake for ½ hour gas 5. Do not overcook as the cornflakes will burn at the edges. When cooked, leave it to cool down a bit so the cornflakes become more crunchy.

Try the following

600ml (1 pint) Milk
110g (4oz) Shortcrust Pastry
3 tbsp Raspberry Jam
3 tbsp Custard Powder
2-3 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
2 tbsp Sugar

Pre-heat oven to 200°C; 400°F: Gas 6.
Roll out the dough and line a baking dish.
Blind bake (prick with fork and place a piece of greaseproof paper with some baking beans on pastry).
Bake for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Spread the jam over the pastry base, sprinkle with coconut.
Boil the milk and whisk into the sugar and custard powder (follow manufacturers instructions).
Pour into the pastry case.
Sprinkle with coconut or a little sugar, to prevent a skin forming.
Allow to cool before serving.

I would add the cornflakes mixed with golden syrup and butter on the top but not so that they go crunchy or burn.

or

Melt 100g/4oz marg with 100g/4oz sugar & 100g/4oz golden syrup in a saucepan. Remove from the heat & add 100g/4oz cornflakes. Line a cooked sweet shortcrust pastry case with jam & add the cornflake mix. Leave to cool & place in the fridge.

Peanut Butter Cornflake Ice Cream Pie
6-8 servings 1 double 10 min 10 min prep

1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1/2 cup light corn syrup
4 cups cornflake cereal (I use "Clusters" brand ONLY)
1 quart vanilla ice cream, slightly softened (prefer Breyer's Natural Vanilla)
chocolate syrup, optional for garnish
peanuts, optional for garnish

Stir together peanut butter and syrup in a medium to large sized bowl.
Add Clusters brand cereal and stir until evenly coated.
Press half of this mixture into the bottom of a 9" pie plate.
Scoop and press ice cream into bottom "crust".
Top with remaining "crust" mixture.
Return to freezer.
Remove from freezer 5 minutes before serving.
Optional: Serve drizzled with chocolate syrup and sprinkled with peanuts.
I usually prefer this without either the chocolate syrup or the peanuts, but it's great either way!
Recipe can be doubled to fit 9x13 dish.
Cooking/Prep times do not reflect the hour or so needed to let this dessert firm up in the freezer after prep.

OH MY GOD! I loved this at school, we only had it very rarely, and usually on Fridays after doing sports.
Sorry, I am no help whatsoever, as I do not have the recipe, but am fully supportive of your quest:)
