I would suggest (to keep you mind off drugs) Do somethig.! Get ininto a hobby, join a local group in your area. Something that gives you a great feeling of being responsable of other people.
Anything you do from here is a positive thing!!
And remember this.. Im just a yahoo person who is answering your question...But im also human, and I care about fellow humans such as yourself.
Please dont dissapoint me. Stay on your path!!

You are talking about a heavy enemy here. Addiction is very difficult to overcome. But, you seem to have taken the first steps, which tells something about your strength.
You could basically do it on two different ways:
1) do it yourself, without help from others. This is the most difficult.
2) with getting help. This might me a clinic, a good therapy, friends.
Addiction is complex. What is important is to find out why you became addicted. What's the story behind it, why you felt the need to use the drugs.
What are the self destructive patterns that you have, that have led to this?
In many cases there are problems behind it. This might be a low self asteem, a bad childhood, or other things. Find the root of the problem helps to get rid of the problem.
Second, if you have been addicted you probably need something to cling on to. A less destructive substitute, all is it maybe just for a short time. Something to bite your teeth in and to focus your energy on.
I would advise you to find some professional help. This way you are not alone in your struggle, and also on the moments the 'addiction is talking', there is someone who can help you to not listen to this 'manipulative voice'. A good therapist can help you and support you.
I wish you all the strenth you need, and all the best!

I cannot tell you how to stay clean, but I can tell you how I stay clean :~)
After coming out of rehab, i did what you have done so far, I changed my people, places and things. This is just the beginning, but don't worry it gets easier.
I started to attend NA meetings. There I found a sponsor, who helps me work the 12 steps of recovery. I also began praying. I was an atheist(didnt believe in God) coming into NA. That did not change immediatly either, but I knew I couldnt stay clean, so I began praying simply to have this obssesion to use, lifted. Like I said I did not believe in God and was unsure about who or what I was praying to, all I know is that I was praying.
This is where the willingness came in. i was willing to do ANYTHING to get the next one, so I carried that over in my recovery. I was willing to do anything to stay clean. I did not want to go back to that other life.
Today I try my best to practice Honesty, Open-mindedness, and Willingness. Three things I knew NOTHING about in my addiction.
So without babbling on, my suggestion is try attending a meeting or 2. You may enjoy them. This is what worked for me.
I am by no means cured, but I have managed to put together 2 years and 3+ months, One day @ a Time.
This message is NOT, NA's message it is my own, but I wouldn't be here to type this message if it wasn't for NA, I'd be off in a crack house somewhere thinking about how I was going to get the next one!!!
Good Luck and God Bless :~)

Addictions (all varieties-no longer merely drugs and alcohol) are very powerful, all-encompassing and a depressing thanks to stay. It appears like he needs to get sparkling, because of his previous tries. yet, persevered sobriety calls for each day upkeep and an outstanding help gadget. Be there for him, regardless of ways tricky it might want to correctly be for you and something of the relations. human beings that do not have addicitve personalities each now and then have a tough time expertise why the addict won't be able to 'merely supply up'. besides the undeniable fact that it truly is an 'evil stress' that lays in waiting for merely the right time second to pounce. undergo in options, that he's probable one hundred% honest consisting of his want to end, yet isn't able to. My prayers are with you and your relations.
