why is purring a bad thing? It means the cats happy. Don't stop it's purring. You might have just bought a very friendly cat. If you think it might be something else, or the cats in pain, go to a vet, but not if your annoyed with it's purring

Purring can means a lot of things it could be because he want u to Pet him..he probably want some more attention ..or purring can also/normally mean he is relaxed or happy..I think the best u can do is give him all the love and attention he deserve...I don't think u must go to the vet for that reason.

A cats purr means they are content and happy with their surroundings. Be happy and don't fret over the small stuff. Good luck.

Cats don't purr only when they are happy.Sometimes they purr when they are anxious or in pain.Yes, it's true, there is GOOD PURR and BAD PURR.As for your cat, if you think that you have nothing to worry about, then I suggest you enjoy his purring. It's his way of showing that he loves you.
