Hey, don't be so hard on yourself?? Did you ever hear of Napolean Bonaparte? The guy was like 5' 2" tall, ruled the world for more than half his life, had chicks coming out of his ears, and more power and money than Donald Trump. Don't worry about the outside of you, concentrate on the inside. Just remember when you become a fearless dictator, treat your underlings with respect. That way they won't eat you!!!

I'm "only" 5'8" and it seems everyone is taller than I am. I know a male singer who is about 5'4", bald and has a gimpy arm. There are petite girls that I find very attractive. You would tower over a girl who is only 5'!" or so. Think of the short celebrities:
Michael J. Fox, Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino, Tom Cruise, et. al.
I have good hair and I'd rather be 5'8" than 6 feet and bald.
Be the best you can be inside; the right girl will appreciate that.

It is not the end of the world.Just appreciate what your height ends up. So what if your brothers and sisters will be taller. It is all to do with genetics so take a look at your parents or maybe you get it from some short grandparent. Being short is not too bad.You could still meet a nice short or tall woman.try pumping up your muscles otherwise

Bud,
develop on your self esteem first. Obviously the whole stigma of "bigger is better" has gotten to your head. Do not worry about that because for sure, a woman will pass up a man with height for a man of integrity, honour, humour and making her feel good.
When it comes down to it, height is just a number. As long as you stand up straight, chin up and chest out, than you will walk tall among giants.
My suggestion, go to the gym. Beef up and get stronger. This will relieve you of your stress and you will feel great about yourself. Take on the leadership role. Volunteer for an non profit organization or start a extra-curricular activity, even if its just an hour a week, for starters.
Don't despair. Get better inside first, than everything else will fall into place.
cheers

nobody can exactly guess how much you will grow. you probably have a thing with the growth hormone or gland. go to the doc again and ask what u can do about it. u could take growth hormone supplemets, but ask him first. excepting the pills, u can play basketball. it's well-known that playing it makes u taller. that's why i can't play it. so don't worry. it's not that bad. just don't wear platform shoes. and i personally think short guys are hot...it's better to be short than to be tall anyway...

You might still grow. Who knows? Some people are late. I'm female but I didn't reach my full height till I was nearly 23 (I'm 5'7" and the shortest one in my family).
Growth hormones are a bad idea. You can't change your DNA (what makes you what you are). You are in the body you will have for the rest of your life. Take that body (that wonderful, amazing, God-given body) and make it the best you can. Who cares how tall you are? It's what inside it that counts.

You need support from others like yourself. Have a look here:
http://www.shortsupport.org/
For fun, scroll to the "Who's who" link.
Did you know that Andrew Carnegie, Stephen A Douglas(of Lincoln/Douglas debate fame), Danny DeVito, & Joseph Strauss (designer of the Golden Gate Bridge) were/are only 5' tall?
Compared to them, these guys are giants at 5' 5-5.5":
Aristotle Onassis (married Jackie Kennedy - a very tall and beautiful woman); Joseph Stalin; Edward G Robinson; Lawrence of Arabia; Dustin Hoffman, Gary Burghoff ("Radar" on M.A.S.H.); Audie Murphy (military her & actor). You get the picture.
At 18, you may continue to grow. But please don't waste your energy fretting about the possibility that you won't.

you could use the platform shoes and you might get a bit taller
yeah you could use growth hormones if you haven't already
I know a kid who's goes to my school he's 17 or 18 and he's about your height and he seems satisfied with his body being short is the least of your problems
sometimes you have to face the facts and if you don't at lest pretend you like yourself short then you will probably go into depression and die a short Little boy who died in vein
what the foo

You need to be growth hormone deficient to get the prescription for shots...have you ever had your IGF1 levels checked? As far as height goes, it is probably too late anyway because growth hormone only helps with height until you are done growing. At 18, you are probably done.

There's no safe way to force growth. Do you really want to be tall and sick?
You're leaving your teens, which means that you'll encounter more women (not "girls" - women) who are more intelligent and less concerned about your height. Work on your confidence, and your height will be less of an issue.
