You'll develop many relationships throughout life starting at birth. If you're talking about a romantic relationship, I think anywhere from 13-18 is a good age.

for a serious relationship, id say 18 or after highschool. Because then things are truly based on the people, not clouded by all the status stuff. For just light dating I'd say when they can drive.

It depends on your maturity level. You can have very meaningful relationships at 15-16 if you're mature enough. but don't expect it to last forever.
