Of course, he is an antichrist. Whether he is THE antichrist, no-one knows. One thing is for sure ; he is not Christ. When Christ comes again, there will be no doubt about who He is. Every eye shall behold Him and know that He is Jesus Christ.

Or it could be the messiah. As a rational person, I would first suggest to look at the evidence presented. What evidence is there for this person to be the messiah or the antichrist?

None. So, the real question is ...why believe?

Bible is VERY clear on how Jesus will return. And flat up says many will come in his name to deceive. Also says that if people say Jesus is in the desert or in a secret place, they lie.
