Most christians I know consider jesus christ as god. I know you probably do not understand this concept of a triune god, but I think christians believe father, son and holy ghost are all aspects of the same god.

The Bible says that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are as much God as God Himself. the three are as One. A Trilogy, Three in One, equals. The contradictions, as you see them, are easily explaned.
If one gospel says three men came, and another says I saw a man coming, The second isn't false, a man is still coming, along with two other men, the other two just aren't mentioned. And is we explain an incident two diffferent ways, are we both wrong because we saw it differently? No we both are correct with two different aspects of the truth. Read "The case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. (Unsure of the spelling of his name) It was very insightful, an athiest in search for the truth. Not trying to convert, just offering anothers point of view.
